Shirin Ebadi's Message of Support for the People of Iran

2003 Nobel Peace Prize Recipient Shirin Ebadi voices her support for the Global Day of Action in solidarity for the People of Iran on Saturday July 25th. People in more than 60 cities around the world will participate in this unprecedented wave of global citizen activism.

Other Nobel Peace Laureates, prominent Iranian poets & artists, and many others support the global day of action: Archbishop Desmond Tutu, Shirin Ebadi, Sean Penn, Googoosh, Maz Jobrani, Betty Williams, Mairead Maguire, Adolfo Perez Esquivel, Rigoberta Menchu Tum, Simin Behbahani, and Ismael Khoii.
