Human Rights International Prize 2008 to NASRIN SOTOUDEH, Iran

Women and Children’s Rights Defender and Lawyer Nasrin Sotoudeh Recieves HR Prize




Human Rights International:: We are pleased to communicate that the "Human Rights International Committee“ has decided to award the "Human Rights International Prize 2008“ to NASRIN SOTOUDEH, Iran.
The nomination to the first Human Rights International Prize was submitted by Nobel Peace Prize Winner 2003 Mrs. Shirin Ebadi, because of Nasrin Sotoudehs work defending the human rights.
The Prize Ceremony will be held on December 2008 in Meran-Merano, Italy, to honour the Human Rights Declaration, adopted and proclaimed by the United Nations General Assembly on December 10, 1948.
